Sarita Ramirez

What about T.H.E. resonates with you? Why were you moved to join T.H.E. team?
T.H.E. is a way for people to connect with one another and share their experiences. From this cause, I get to speak and talk to real people about their trials and tribulations as well as their joys and celebrations, and share them with the world.

What impassions you?
To relate with people through endless artistic collaborations.

What projects are you working on outside of T.H.E.?
I work for my personal podcast, Movies á La Queer, as Host, meanwhile, expanding my portfolio on SaritaRamirez.com.

What are the top three things that instantly bring a smile to your face?
Funny vine videos, beach waves, and my daughter, named Mia, the energetic Cavalier-spaniel mix.

What’s one of your favorite aspects about the queer community?
That never-ending love and understanding that resonates in the community.

What’s one thing you’d like to change within the queer community?
The labels that divide both women and men from one another—examples: Butch, femme, and twink.

What passions and strengths are you most excited to bring to T.H.E. and what aspects of T.H.E. are you most excited to get involved with?
My passion in connecting with others is definitely what excites me about T.H.E. As far as the aspects of the blog, I long to work directly with video production and discovering new people and their own passions and wishes of and within the Queer community.
